Hello -
Did Big Brother play "Hall of the Mountain King" live ever (in concert) ? I only know of the version that was released on video from the 1967 TV performance. Would be interested in hearing a live, concert version. Great solo guitar performances by James Gurley and then Sam Andrew and overall a great instrumental psychedelic classic. Do you still play it? What prompted Big Brother to play this and who arranged it? My guess is that it pre-dates Janis' joining the band.
